Re: Aggregate Industries site at Little Paxton from Aggregate Industries UK Limited
As part of improving our health and safety standards and workplace transport we seek to create a temporary diversion footpath.
The Company has identified pedestrians crossing our haul road as a safety concern and seek to create a temporary alternative route for the duration of operations.
Footpath 207/3 which is located within the Parish of Southoe and Midloe located between the River Great Ouse (510m travelling west) and footpath 207/02.
The Company would like to temporarily divert part of the footpath 207/03 by 200 metre in a south west direction linking to footpath 207/02. The precise location of the proposed temporary diverted route is subject ecological evaluation but will follow something similar to that illustrated below.
It is considered the proposed diversion would provide a more pleasant and safe route between the Great River Ouse and Paxton Pits Nature Reserve to the south and Rights of Way towards the A1, Southoe and Diddington.
I welcome any comments on the proposed route prior to submitting a formal Temporary Diversion Order
