A1 Wyboston to Buckden resurfacing
I am writing to tell you that we plan to carry out essential landscaping and biodiversity improvements on the A1 northbound between Wyboston and Buckden. Once complete, the road will benefit from enhanced grassland and planting of new greenery to grow and mature over the coming months.
We plan to complete this work over 4 nights across 2 weekends from Saturday 18 March to Sunday 26 March. We will work between 9pm and 5am, weather conditions permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, we will need to close the A1 northbound between Wyboston and Buckden, and divert traffic as detailed below:
- Saturday 18 March to Sunday 19 March, 9pm to 5am
- Saturday 25 March to Sunday 26 March, 9pm to 5am
Northbound traffic will be diverted via the A428 and A14 before re-joining the A1 at junction 22.
