Allotments and community gardens are valuable green spaces and community assets that can improve people’s quality of life by promoting healthy food, exercise and community interaction.
The Allotments Advisory Group:
- Supports and maintains the smooth and efficient running of Buckden Parish Community Allotments, and promotes this Parish asset to be enjoyed by all our community for vegetable cultivation, education, wild life biodiversity, relaxation and well being.
- Advises on rental rates and occupancy
- Carries out regular plot inspections in order to ensure that the plots are maintained in good condition.
The allotments situated, in the village, off Silver Street. If you are interested in taking on a plot or half-plot, please contact the Parish Clerk using the contact form
