Lucks Lane Attenuation Basin
The large attenuation basin on the development does not work as planned. The Parish Council believes there is a significant risk of it causing flooding, particularly in Springfield Close. HDC enforcement officers have said they can’t take any action.
The Parish Council has been informed that the advice to contact the leader of HDC was incorrect. The correct procedure is to direct the letters to our District Councillor Hamish Masson Hamish.Masson@huntingdonshire.gov.uk asking him to work with the enforcement officers to require the developer to correct the defects in the basin and make it secure against flooding.
