We are very sorry to hear that National Highways have unfortunately had numerous incidents of their workforce receiving abuse and pedestrians/cyclists ignoring signage and walking directly into the work site. Could all pedestrians/cyclists follow signage around the worksite and drivers please be patient whilst escorts and the worksite are being prepared, both for your own safety and the safety of the workforce. We need to show respect for those doing a difficult job.
